What I am trying to say is, Masai was on the verge to blow the team up in 2018 after 3 straight years of being Stuck, and trading for Kawhi was the (Go Big or Go Home) type of move. And the result was.....WE Went BIG. (But to be honest, I bet even Masai couldn't envision Raptors could win it all, Kawhi was a gamble, his injury and his last year of his contract had Raptors went mediocre, or Kawhi missed half of the season and then leaves Toronto Masai could easily get fired or not renewed his contract, and he didn't know Nick Nurse could coach this well and Siakam could become #2 scoring option)
And NOW I am guessing we are really heading back to square one again, which was exactly like where we were in 2018 and I really believed Masai had a blueprint about the rebuild all the way back to 2018.
