Not every player wants to go chase championships, Kyle got his here, so we don't know if he wants to go for another ring or if he is comfortable staying where he is.

Why don't you go join a Celtics forum or something? Pretty sure 98% of people don't come here to read you repeatedly say our team is garbage, especially considering they clearly are not. Troll somewhere else? No.loyalty, no faith, not really a raptors fan, just a person who can't take a few games lost and throws in the towel for the whole year based on 10 games.

Its fine to critique the players, some coaching decisions, some changes we could make to get get better, but the team deserves better than to be called "garbage". Lame.

The bigs problem could mostly go away. We can't be starting Len or Baynes for matchup reasons (at least not until we see a lot more of Baynes and he re-establishes himself as an option). Start Boucher, let OG handle any C's he can't, give Baynes a chance to try to provide value against bench players.

Then see if there is anything substantial out there at the deadline when we have expirings and hopefully a positive value Norm to deal, plus an excess of cheap guards (TD ideally).

Those options kind of suck.. see a bunch of Alex Len's out there. Real difference will be via trade. I like the idea of trying to get Dwight Powell for Norm Powell. Not sure Dallas would do that deal though.

He's not mentioned on that list, but you guys think Nerlens Noel could be a decent back up for Toronto? More a defensive minded big that can help out on the boards, block shots and he's still only 26 so possibly room to develop.

I wonder what it would take to get Serge Ibaka (the Centre for the Los Angeles Clippers). He's not perfect but he can stretch the floor, hit the midrange, help on the glass with put backs, and it's a pretty good shot blocker. Would certainly be an upgrade over baynes. He has a ton of playoff experience, and I hear great in the locker room for morale and mentoring younger players. I think he also won a NBA title as the sixth man not too long ago if I'm not mistaken. Probably out of our reach though.

Also wouldn't mind giving Skal Labissiere a shot as a reclamation project. He's long, very mobile and has 3-pt range. Unfortunately for him, he got drafted into the Kangz organization with like 20 other centers, lol. His numbers have always been pretty good, so it's not like he flat out sucks or anything. Still just 24. Can't be any worse than Len and Baynes, can he?
