If the Lakers got Kyle they'd be the PROHIBITIVE favorite to win it all. But now, it's wide open. THT balled out last night btw - 3 points in 19 mins. Shannon Sharpe saying he's not sure if Lowry is much of an upgrade over Schroder is a joke. You can tell he's a casual.

Anyway, I like the Clippers in the West now and I like the Bucks or Nets in the East(can't decide). But it doesn't matter because a few months from now we'll be talking about Kawhi as a 3x champion.

LOL the sixers, heat, and Lakers are so fkn dumb I swear. Especially the Lakers.

Literally could have had Kyle Lowry but preferred to keep THT when they're in ultimate win now mode LOL

Same thing with sixers and heat. When you have Embiid, Butler, and the supporting cast that they have around them, you have to go all in but they preferred to keep Tyler Herro and Tyrese Maxey instead. George Hill and Oladipo barely even move the needle

If any of those teams got Kyle Lowry they would be deadly and almost on par with the Nets but thank goodness they didn't

Glad Bobby and Masai didnt just do a lowry deal to do one. We had the leverage and title contenders were looking for us to cave to them. Lesser Gms would have pulled the trigger. But we know what he's worth and glad we didnt sell for pennys on the dollar

Example: Rockets. They caved last second and traded Oladipo for Olynyk and Bradley. Rockets could have kept LeVert and Jarrett Allen. Terrible asset management there.

But still...it boils down to one player...if Kawhi can get a reliable Robin in Paul George when it matters most...

I don't really listen to what other people say. I have my own opinion. I know what I saw from Rondo last year in the bubble. Rondo has another gear that he can go to in the playoffs. And all the Clippers really need from him is bring leadership and facilitate the offense, they don't need him to be Chris Paul.

Agreed that Rhondo does have another gear and he is very, very dangerous when he hits it.
However, he's still a wildcard, always has been in sort of a Dennis Rodman kind of way, he can make you or break you. And it doesn't address the chemistry / lack of depth going on at the clippers.
Still, adding serge gives them a much better chance this year if it somehow manages to click together......

Btw, i'm really glad that the Lakers backed out in the Lowry trade because they didn't want to include THT lol. THT is just another one of those overhyped Laker prospect.He's ceiling is Jordan Clarkson. That's it. Nothing special.

The rumour was KCP, THT and Schroeder. That's a terrible return for Lowry. I wanted Thybulle or Herro.
