Reputable but what is he really saying here? Three finals caliber teams each have the same flaw (no true point guards). There’s a great point guard on an expiring contract in Toronto. It slides easily into the well established “why would someone want to stay in Toronto†narrative. Kyle is friends with player X. Kyle is friends with everyone. No actual inside information needed to write that whole story. Move along. Looks like that report was just fluff for clicks. The way his agent says Lowry is focused on becoming the GROAT makes me think he probably wants to sign another contract but Ive been wrong a lot.
