FVV is really good shooter. I think that midrange shot he's doing now will only improve in future. It's big part of his future development. Needs to continue
Looked it up midgame, career best from long midrangers this year. Still not a great shot (44% which is actually very good), but its basically free, better than forcing up a layup in the trees and a bit easier to get a rebounder in position for. Fred just keeps adding bits to his game - hes just a great all around player.

Great game - all the guys who have been players so far played their roles. That OG drive was a joy.

An unexpected win. What has happened to the Bucks?
Not the same team since after the all-star break last season.

      • Nice bounce back for Pascal, just proves no need to bail on him over one missed layup.

Og, great game, so glad to see him back.

giannis will demand a trade within 2 years
Will the Raps still want him by then?

Pretty much the only guy on the team with the strength, length and foot speed to slow down Giannis somewhat. Basically, the Kawhi body type. Stanley could, maybe, but he tanks the offense so badly.
True but not just tonight. He makes life so much easier for everyone else on defense. So many examples of plays where they don’t have to double and scramble or where he just switches and takes the pressure off his teammate guarding the ball-handler. Or where he gets teams out of their sets by stopping the primary action. It’s invaluable.

                • Difference on team-defence was palpable on this game with OG in. Crisp, sharp rotations with virtually no miscommunication. Aside from a few shots from connaghton from the logo everything the bucks got they had to work hard for it.

I would trade Bud, Thanasis, Brooke, and DJA for Nick Nurse.

                        • Fun game.

The Bucks roster has gotten worse each season the last couple years, that franchise is in denial and has been propped up by Giannis. Look at the shit on that roster, that's a lottery team with him off it and Khris Middleton 100% rides Giannis' coattails to All-Star games.

I think the supporting cast peaked 2 years ago.

                          • Also, losing to a team you should definitely beat in Minnesota then showing up for a tough opponent in Milwaukee is such a young team move. That disciplined, vet-heavy roster that got wins so consistently is gone. Going through the young guys (even though several of these reclamation project players are old young guys) development pains with this roster. Haven't seen this for a few years, even the Lowry/DD teams had matured by the end.
