  • Raptors All Defensive Team?

    Lowry
    James Johnson
    Bruno
    Amir
    Bebe

well maybe not the most solid and consistent defensively but it would definitely generate the most steals and blocks and it would be really fun to watch these guys bother the heck out of the other team and fast break the other way.

why are bruno and bebe even there? if two of our top defensive guys are those two then we are in trouble.

it is interesting how Christie went from driving Jordan crazy as a raptor to doing the same to Kobe as a king

Bebe can block some shots, but I would not call him a good defensive player, would love to see him guard Cousins, Howard, Lopez (either), Jefferson, Pek, Gortat, Bogut, Hibbert, Drummond, Jordan, Gasol (either)or Noah. Just not strong enough. Same goes for Bruno, he will get his blocks and steals, but he can't keep stronger wing out of the lane or chase them around screens all that well.

Yeah Bruno and Bebe don't deserve to be on that list yet. They will be good for some defensive highlights (ridiculous blocks especially) but until they mature physically and mentally they will be liabilities on defence.

                  Ross
                  JJ
                  Amir
                  Val

Val is the only real question mark, because you could make an argument that Hayes has more BBIQ at this point in their respective careers. But Val is more playable against all types of Cs because of his size, whereas Hayes can't really be your everyday starting C.
