As usual, the NBA doesn't care what's fair or shows integrity. They care about large markets, super teams and TV ratings. I don't know why about 1/3 of the teams have any fans or ratings whatsoever unless you're just watching to see stars on other teams....

Jalen rose had a very simple, effective idea re: buyout market. Make the buyout deadline the same day as the trade deadline. It wouldn't fix everything but its BS that all the mid market teams have to get their ducks in order and finalize their roster, and then the week after the 3 best super teams come and scoop up the leftovers and a small fraction of their original salary.
great for the player, great for the super team, awful for the underdogs and the competitive integrity.

Another undrafted, didn't play until grade 8, Masai special. Excpet he doesn't look that.....special. Looks like he can rebound and throw in a few blocks so why not?

Tonight in tank:
Wolves at Pacers: Pacers should win this. Wolves are already almost certainly going to be top-three-lowest, so that doesn't change much, but it will put the Pacers three and a half ahead of us.
Wiz at Magic: They have virtually the same record (the Magic have one more loss), so one of them will get worse and one will get closer to our record.
Pellies at Nets: Probable loss for New Orleans, who we are still behind in W/L.
Mavs at Rockets: Mavs likely win, solidifying their playoff position further. Rockets continue to be one of the worst teams.
Hornets at Thunder: Thunder should lose and tie our current record.

Game of the Night:
Somebody is gonna win between the truly wretched Wizards and the "cashin dem checks" till the end of the year Orlando Magic.
The Magic have 6th overall pick Mo Bamba 3rd on the depth chart behind Carter Jr. and Khem Birch. It might not take much at the trade deadline.
Go WIzards ?

lol didn't the Bulls make deadline deals to get better? Have they figured out how to do that and stay in the lottery? Are they sure that's a good thing?
