There was also speculation that based on some Dragic outcome or another, the Raptors would get different compensation which was why the deal wasn't leaked earlier like most deals. I think there was something to that (heard rumblings that the deal was still shifting around right up to Friday re: whether picks were included, though I suspect now it was 2nds and not a 1st being discussed), but it seems that perhaps the outcome they feared was Dragic demanding a buyout, which doesn't seem to have happened.Comment
