I fly there all the time for work, it's a pretty big city. Lots of sporting events, concerts, restaurants, etc... 3-4 hours from Dallas. Houston is nice. I've never been to Michigan but can say Texas in general is a nice state from what I've seen. Also like four times the population in Houston which appeals to some (Not me lol)

If you have money.. you can live anywhere and it will be nice. I have family in Michigan.. and they are loaded. They are about a 30-45 minute drive to the city but live really happy where they are.

The #6 pick was originally held by Phoenix - Culver was traded to Minnesota on draft day. The return to Phoenix - #11 that year (Cameron Johnson) and Dario Saric.

As much as Toronto / San Antonio get lauded for their draft decisions, Minnesota should be on the other end of that comparison.

There's plenty to do in Houston. It's not an attractive city - it's the worst sprawl in the country, honestly - but it has a great live music scene, great clubs, and it's an amazing food city, probably the best in the country after New York at this point.

The Cavs spoke with the New Orleans Pelicans about the possibility of a Josh Hart sign-and-trade, sources tell cleveland.com, but that possibility apparently vanished Monday, when Hart moved closer to a three-year, $38 million deal to stay in New Orleans. Cleveland has also explored the trade market. Kyle Anderson, Terrence Ross, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish, T.J. Warren, Thaddeus Young, Tobias Harris, Jeremy Lamb and Harrison Barnes are all said to be available. Reddish is a player the Cavs liked in the 2019 draft. They’ve been in contact with Atlanta about him. But wings don’t come cheap.

Don't really see any attractive trade options for Dragic here, but who knows.

Yeah I think we just keep Dragic and see how the season goes. If at the trade deadline we look like a real threat and Dragic is playing a key part we keep him and go for a playoff run. If we're looking more like a fringe playoff team we deal Dragic to a contender. No need to rush anything, we need a 6th man guard off the bench and Dragic fits that to a T.

Nurse was talking about Dragic a bit on Tim and Friends yesterday when he announced the Team Canada extension. He said that he'll likely be coming off the bench. Dragic came off the bench for the Heat as well. So it's a role he's familiar with.

So Joel got a supersize max extension. Feels like that one might bite the 76ers in the ass considering how unhealthy Embiid is every year. But the big guy got paid. $196M/4 year extension. Has a player option for 2026-2027.
