I couldn’t make it work in the trade machine due to 2021/2022 salaries (or a lack thereof), but I wonder about a basis for a three-team sign & trade where Cavs get Simmons, Philly gets Kyle and we get Jarrett Allen + … Is that possible in any permutation?
Would Cavs be interested in this deal? Balancing money would potentially be tricky I guess as we obviously don’t wanna pay Allen anything near what Ben is making…
(I feel full of remorse even talking about moving on from the GROAT.)

If they are looking to move Pascal, that could be the backbone of a deal but I think they ask for more picks.

A lot of people aren’t sold on Wiseman - in that case: Wiggins + 7th + 14th + future FRP + filler would be a good return for Pascal. If Wiggins improves on his recent season…. then it’s a heist.
Wiggins is the filler (they don't really have any other filler to offer). Wiseman, 7, 14 and futures would be the value. If they are selling on Pascal, it won't matter what Wiggins does, they will be tearing down to some degree and aren't prioritizing winning (unless the Pascal trade is for a star, but this trade voids that possibility). Wiggins being able to shift to a near-neutral asset on his contract (which would be quite a leap) versus a negative one doesn't help them trade him for any real return, so would be irrelevant to them.

The Raptors have become one of the more fascinating teams to watch as the draft approaches, simply due to scenarios where they could package this selection, along with current players, to reshape the team. Rival teams believe Toronto is interested in acquiring a star talent, with nobody on the roster deemed untouchable, and they have been among the teams most strongly connected to Ben SimmonsTo be the champs you got to beat the champs

I think Boucher is the one name to keep in mind at the draft. He's got a non-guarantee amount for $7M next season (so an expiring). We may want to shed as much cap space as possible before free agency. And we could shop him for a draft pick in this draft.
Didn't do my home work to see who could take him into cap space, and be willing to give up a pick for an expiring contract like his. But could definitely see him being moved by Thursday.

Could be an intresting few days..
A trade of Ben Simmons by the Philadelphia 76ers is considered "inevitable" by sources, but it could drag out until the preseason.
The 76ers are seeking a package that includes a point guard for Simmons and more teams are interested than have been reported due to a weaker than usual free agency class.
Sources believe teams interested in Simmons will operate with more urgency closer to the season.
Damian Lillard, Kyle Lowry and Bradley Beal are considered the most enticing trade options for the 76ers.

And oh so seamlessly the NBA takes your attention, ladies and gentleman, to the the next act in the non stop NBA season......The Draft and Free Agency.
The hype machine is “foot to the floor and there ain’t no more†efficiency.
You want trades we have trades.
You want draft picks who are superstars in the making? We have that too.
You want some drama around which really good kid wants to move teams because feels disrespected? . We have that too!!!!! Inside the NBA.
This week will have some phantasmagorical rumours and the Raps have a role in some of those offseason things.
Here we go
Who ya got at number 4?
Kyle stays ?
At 4 we take Jalen Suggs after trying to move up for Jalen Green at 2 with Houston. Whom we offer OG and #4 for #2.
No. Kyle is going to Philly for something of value. Going low and saying floor deal value is a time expiry protected out year FRP and a rostered player which is unlikely to be Ben Simmons but could be Thybulle , Maxey or Korkmaz.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Houston thought so too. They asked for next years first. Ujiri said “ ok work with me. Yes to the first but it has to be lottery protected.†Houston said no. Counters with Bolo offer of Top 5 protected and you have Jalen Green at 2. Ujiri said no.

Kyle is not going to be in T.O next year be it a SnT or just straight up F.A.
Think we are going with Suggs at 4. But wouldn't surprise me if something crazy happens on draft night. If i had preference i would prefer it doesn't involve 4 going out unless its for Beal or Lillard. We arn't going to have a top 5 pick for a long time after this, gotta take advantage. To be the champs you got to beat the champs
