Those are good points but it goes to my 'hitting the brakes' comment. They made the playoffs last year and Jackson barely played at all, so him,. Morant and Clarke could all have breakout 'third' seasons. And you're drafting your future SG for three years from now?
I don't know.... not sure I'd be real happy if I was a Memphis fan.
Makes a presumption that Memphis management actually knows what it's doing
At this point in Kyle's career his #1 priority has to be winning another chip, no? why would he go to New Orleans?
CP3 took the suns to the finals. I wouldnt count out Lowry taking pels to the playoffs and being a live dog.. But it doesn't seem like a chip is kyle priority from the reports. It seems like $ is

I mean, their road to the finals was pretty easy. No Davis in round 1. LeBron also was not 100% in that series. No Jamal Murray, Dozier and Barton in round 2. No Kawhi in round 3.

Fair enough. Grizz fans seem fine with it, which is surprising to me, but I guess they are all in on Jackson, so he will definitely get a lot more shots if he can stay healthy.
Ultimately, depends on the pick. If they get a really good player at #10 then the trade looks great!
Rumour is the Grizzlies want either Kuminga or Bouknight and will try to trade #10 to move up. Likely target is GSW who has #7.
Maybe GSW would move down to 10 if Memphis gives back their future 2024 pick (that pick is only top 4 protected, and then only #1 is protected in 2025). That pick will be great as that's when Curry will be like 36 years old and they could be rebuilding.
GSW got that for taking on Iggy's contract in a salary dump a couple of years back.
