My offer for Shai (who would be an incredible get) would be 4, Boucher, Flynn, a future first and a future second for Shai and 16. Obviously we would want 6 but I just don’t see them giving up Shai and 6 unless it’s for a guaranteed star. I also think they don’t want to trade him and this is probably just a smoke screen from somebody else. The idea of getting Shai, though, is to pair him with pascal and OG.

Probably Van Vleet instead of Siakam
Siakam/ 6th plus 16th or 34th from OKC will probably get him a bonafide star to pair with Shai/ OG and Trent Jr.
Could also be Siakam plus 16th and 34th for a star
Shai/ OG/ Trent Jr. with either Barnes or Kuminga and the bonafide star is an offseason Masai would want in a perfect world
another variation:
Van Vleet/ no.4/ 47/ 48 for Shai/ 6th/ 16th and not even including their 34th pick would still be an amazing deal for both sides.
if Masai is content with this then that is also fine:
Shai/ GTJ/ OG/ Siakam/ Cap Space (Center)
Barnes or Kuminga (6th) as understudy
Kispert or Kai Jones (16th)
he can wait until Siakam mends and determine if his value improves before the deadline

So, you can't really count Lowry fully as our player... he's a FA, we could lose him for nothing. We are facilitating a S&T in this scenario, so it doesn't;t have the same weight. I wouldn't add OG in any trade for Simmons.

OKC won't want any current players, so don't be worrying about including any of the current core.
My proposal was just salary filler (partially guaranteeing Baynes' deal would work) plus 4, one of our 2nds, 2022 1st, 2023 swap, 2024 1st lotto protected. For Shai and 6.
I suspect OKC would prefer to leave the extra picks out of it and do something more like 4 and our 2022 for Shai straight up (which I would also be very happy with). Shai is just what the Raps core is missing (barring a true blue superstar being available). OKC walks away with one of the top 4 in the draft, a reset timer on the first big raise out of their tank, and an extra pick next year that could be valuable if we implode.

Lowry + Siakam + picks for: somebody else's problem? Swap Siakam for Boucher and that's probably a fairer deal for both sides, but still.
Simmons is a major fixer-upper, guys. He's a player who needs the ball in hands to be effective.... yet he doesn't want the ball in his hands when the game is on the line. And when he does have the ball, he gets fouled and loses the game at the FT line. There's a major contradiction there. A problem with no obvious solution. Simmons can be a team's weakest link that can be exploited at the worst possible time. We all just saw that. That's why Philly wants him gone. I don't see how a change in scenery fixes any of his inherent problems.
This is a buy-low opportunity, not something you trade 2 all-stars + picks. Even then, I'd buy-low and flip.
The reason he's useful here is that his salary facilitates a Lowry SnT to Philly, which is the ideal spot for Lowry.
I'd call Cleveland and go:
CLE: Gets Simmons
PHI: Gets Lowry, a future first from Toronto and Cleveland
TOR: Gets Jarret Allen and Kevin Love
I think that's a win-win-win. Cleveland gets rid of Love's deal, and both Raptors and Philly are getting a pretty good return for what they're giving up.

Combine that with the "Masai is talking with OKC about trading down" rumour and it looks a lot like Masai is trying to land Shai.
Raps were definitely interested in SGA in his draft year - I recall proposing trading DeMar to the Clippers for their 2 FRPs. Of course, Masai did much better and got Kawhi, plus a chip. lol.

I envy you that you are already the first fly to show up on the wall of Masai’s draft room.

No one here is saying that he is trying to shop for crappy picks, did someone said that? And why would you even think about that?

Nothing to do with the Raptors. The Thunder are only looking to move Shai (which is nuts) to avoid paying him, why would they trade for players who have already been paid. It's just logic.
So you devalue what a current Raptor can offer to the Thunder? and I am not saying Baynes

C troop proposed #4 being swapped for a bunch of picks from OKC, did not say Shai coming back. You quoted that post yourself
Common sense that Masai is not giving up the 4 for lower (crappy) picks from your POV, to imply about that is just a passive aggressive silliness post

Masai is angling to land SGA and OKC is trying to trade up to nab Cade. Is there a 3-way deal that works for OKC/Raps/Pistons that gets everybody what they want?

If they are not hard up on getting Green, you can quickly assemble something that makes sense. Trading down from 1st to get the 4th and 6th and a couple futures (OKC has plenty to spare, Raps would throw in their 2022) is good value especially in a draft with 4 guys who could potentially go first in other years. Raps get Shai, OKC gets Cade.
But if Detroit is just between Cade and Green, that's the tricky bit.
Here's my tenforthewin proposal in that scenario. Houston has been rumoured to like all of the top 4 prospects at one time or another, so if they are not enamoured with Green (I suspect they are, in which case nothing will work, but let's go with this) and don't want to give up the extra value to move up to 1, maybe they see the 2-4 guys as equivalent and would trade down from 2 to get 4 and 6. Then the deal would be:
Detroit trades #1.
Houston trades #2.
Toronto trades #4 and futures (say 2022 1st and 2023 swap).
OKC trades #6 and Shai and futures (they have so many of them).
Detroit gets #2 and all those futures.
Houston gets #4 and #6.
Toronto gets Shai.
OKC gets #1.
It's crazy but I love it.
