They said that a significant drop of talent after Wiggins and Jabari as well

Just for fun, here's a look at Kyle Lowry's college stats.
Kyle Lowry College Stats | College Basketball at Sports-Reference.com
Hard to believe he only averaged 3 assists per game and shot 13 for 40 from three-point land in 2 full years of ball.
Was picked 24th overall and is an NBA champion now. Crazy how unpredictable these things can be.

What kind of garbage offer was this? Were they including Embid? The entire rest of their team?
Holy crap horrible low ball if not.....Raptors should have told them not to even bother calling ever again.
You'd be lucky to get Lowry and Boucher for Simmons at this point...... let alone the 4th pick and freddy and vanvleet? Please, what are they smoking in the Philly management team?Last edited by Dvdvideo; Tue Jul 27, 2021, 08:17 PM.

The best part of this take is that if Masai thought like this we wouldn't even have a core of FVV, Siakam and OG.
***The best part of this take is that the Raptors never had the 4th pick overall when Ujiri took those guys.
We would have a bunch of Stanley Johnson's.
*** Thats a bit of a stretch eh ?
PHX had pick number 4 two years in a row and snatched up Dragan Bender and Josh Jackson. Nothing is guaranteed.
*** McDonough in his tenure from 2013-2018 also drafted Alex Len (5) , TJ Warren (14) Tyler Ennis (18) Devin Booker (14) Dragan Bender (4), Josh Jackson (4) Skal Labisiere (21) and Giorgios Papagiannas (13). While you're right and nothing is guaranteed Phoenix fired this dumbass after looking at this draft record. He lucked into Booker based on his other 4 cracks at it.
Shai was the 11th pick in his draft.
***Doncic was top 4 consensus that year. So was DeAndre Ayton . So was Trae Young but he went 5th.
I get you like Shai 3 years later but those other guys turned out OK too.
You are overthinking this.
We are keeping the pick. The upside on any of these 4 guys is very high.
We might not see top 4 lottery again for a decade.

That's awesome.. moved the deadline into free agency. That's an extra $10M we can use in a trade now if we need it.
Means you don't have to cough up primo rates for a cap space rental from a third team if you need it....perhaps an out year 2nd round pick for your admin trouble. And its protected 31-57.
Bobby Webster is a genius .There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

All I said was Masai with 2 FRP's is deadly. "He lucked into Booker" is pretty much the story of the draft this past decade with the top 5 picks usually being media-driven selections by journalists and analysts.
Also, you are quick to forget that Bamba, Bagley and MPJ were also highly regarded in that class. ATL even traded Doncic, they got lucky Trae Young hit.
I will be happy with keeping pick number 4, as I've said many times. I trust whatever Masai is planning to do.
