Another bountiful free agent season for the Toronto Raptors. Anyone remember 2 yrs ago when everyone was like "oh man, just wait until the summer of 2021, that free agent class is stacked! We gon' make a splash and no one will see us coming!"
Hard to celebrate and get closure on the departure of the Groat too since we don't even know what we're getting in return; sh*t looking messy out there

We could’ve signed Holmes to a significantly better contract (for him) and not even at all bad contract (for us) if we’d just let Kyle walk and used cap space, as I once posed. (thanks for remembering Demo 😃)
Instead… we help Kyle get to his dream destination with his pal Jimmy, and potentially what do we get out of the deal? A slab of meat across the cheek and another year of (=)Baynes???
How is this good team management?? How does this benefit the Raptors of Toronto?
I love Kyle 4ever-bffsâ¤ï¸âœŒï¸but like… sorry, if I were managing this team I wouldn’t bend over backwards to give him what he wanted. I’d frankly sooner tell him he can get fukked than hamstring the progress of this team for years ahead.
Not sure if that’s the case with Masai/Bobby…
anyone able to talk me down?
(I’m taking it real well right now.
Feeling great about it.)
