This post theorizes that Markkanen may getting squeezed out of the market, and may have to consider takin a QO from the Bulls of 9M.
Bulls already added Lonzo, Caruso and Derozan (along with Vucevic last year). They might not have the means anymore to offer what Lauri is looking for, but at the same time Lauri's market is drying up as free agency goes on.
This feel like good opportunity to get a 7 footer shooting 40% from 3 who's only 24 (age aligned with our newer core), with a potential to breakout after being on a good development org as opposed to the bulls, on the cheap.
Maybe Bulls could also be the 4th team to grease up this Dragic situation? They're looking for a backup big. Dallas has Powell and WCS they would be willing to part for dragic if it wasn't for the fact they'd hit their C rotation so much. We've got Boucher coming out of a breakout year. I feel there might be a solution under everyone's noses but no one is seeing it.

Draymond Green seemed to think they could. That healthy, they would just have too much offensively for any defense to manage.
With Westbrook and all the vets the Lakers picked up, I'm not even sure they can beat the Nets.

But for the Kyle sign and trade, rumours were that they were going to look for a 3rd team for Dragic by sometime today (Thursday), and if they couldn't find a taker, the Raptors would keep Dragic and also get some additional compensation from the Heat (such as Okpala and/or another 2nd rounder).
I suspect if we end up keeping Dragic, we'll buy him out and not keep him. I just have a strange feeling this is the way this plays out.
