Kinda like Hibbert, he was, until he wasn’t. And it happened really quick.

Have always liked Dragic's game and competitiveness. Don't mind him being here. The irony is that he & Lowry "butted" heads in Houston way ago... choices were made and led to Lowry being in TO. Kind of strange Dragic may end up taking Lowry's spot on the Raps all these years later. I do however hope the Luka press on the Mavs f/o allow the Raps to swing their deal with Cuban ...he wouldn't want to piss off the golden boy too much. Doncic has looked at Dragic as a mentor for a while now... so ...here's hoping.

Last few years he's put up lines like 18+16 with 2 stl almost 2 blk and he's bouncing around, no one wants him long term. It's nuts. Even with his issues he'd be a perennial All-Star for most of NBA history.

Markkenen's value is depressed now; I know he would like to get a bigger deal of course, but I don't think he's getting above 14-15M (this year at least). Bulls had a lot of signings so they're stretched, but luckily for them, there's not a whole lot of teams out there with a lot of cap space to absorb Lauri this late in the game, so they might get away with just putting the Qualifying Offer there for him with no one coming around to match.

So about ~14 hours till Dragic and Okpala join the team.

You know, in comparing Lowry vs Dagic, obviously Lowry has him beat in intangibles and leadership, but overall his career numbers are actually reasonable.

I think the Miami fans would speak of the intangibles that Dragic brings as well (he’s still a tier below Lowry). Dragic is a good player but doesn’t fit into our plans going forward. Start him until you can unload him. There will be teams that start off slow that will want to add someone.
