Clippers don't look like anything special.

We'll see. Always hard to judge by late regular season games, especially against a team like the Raps, but it seems like a lot of the same question marks from last season remain, including George's playoff struggles and Kawhi's ability to play an effective 4 quarters/game for 20+ games in the post-season. Sure doesn't feel like the supporting cast has improved that much, if at all, so it's going to be on those 2 again and it's going to be a very tough road no matter who they play round 1.

Same could be said for the Lakers.

Hopefully this is a post season of upsets and we get a Finals sans Lakers, Clippers and Nets.

Aren't the Lakers starting from the baseline of being the champs and not a 2nd round out though? Never mind that LeBron concern is pretty much entirely fictional. You think he'd be sitting right now if it was the playoffs?

Don't see the comparison at all. First, they have Lebron who is the greatest player of his generation and light years ahead of Leonard. Second, Davis has... never struggled in the playoffs. He was a monster last season and, well, in every playoff series he's ever been in. Even if you want to make the case he could do better than his 31 and 10 Finals showing or his pedestrian 29 and 11 overall, he is not George. Third, their supporting cast is as good or better than last season. Oh, and they also won it all last year!

The only question for the Lakers is health. Whereas even if the Clips are 100% they still have issues on both ends.
