Can't say I can muster an erg of sympathy for LA or the NBA if this comes to pass.

The Clippers roster would have been better for Kawhi without the PG trade, which is hilarious. Better fit, more talented roster. Shot himself in the foot forcing that one.

Not to mention they'd have better incoming pieces year after year on roster friendly contracts via all the picks they would've kept .... instead they'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel in free agency year after year, trying to put something better than mediocre pieces around him.

Honestly, I think that teams just expected the Raptors to give him up for nothing or buy him out and then they'd sign him for vet minimum. Good thing Masai told Philly and Lakers to eat shit.

Philly is the only team that, when they realized they didn't want to pay Masai's price for Lowry, went out and tried to duplicate Lowry's skillset by trading for George Hill. Hill isn't as good as Kyle is, but he at least works as sort of a poor man's Kyle, and Philly is kicking ass as a result. Meanwhile, Miami and New York are out and the Lakers and Clippers are both a game away from elimination.

Not sure why there is barely a mention of serge being hurt, he's a plus 8.5 in the regular season and it's massive for LA to be missing him.
