Masai, bring him back to Toronto and all is forgiven
Siakam/ Van Vleet/ 2021 FRP/ 2022 FRP/ 2 SRPs and Boucher
for Kawhi and Zubac
that would somewhat refill portion of the picks they gave up for Paul George to OKC
retain Lowry and go from there

The Clippers bullied Luka last year in the playoffs, this year he's out for revenge lol. Dude was trash talking Beverley and the Clippers bench the whole game."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard

See him yelling at Beverly on the second bucket of game 1 (or whatever that was)? "HE'S TOO FUCKING SMALL!!!!" Luka was dialed in man, he's out to destroy these guys. Certainly looks personal. To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Still laugh thinking GM Kawhi could have had the Raptors, or could have just went their and had SGA, Gallinari, and about a thousand picks. Instead he hitched his wagon to PG13, Pat Beverley and no depth.
Masai might get back to a finals before Kawhi
He hand picked his team
He hand picked his co-star
He hand picked his scape goats after year 1 (Lou will and Doc)
I want his entire career to be defined by people asking how many rings could have he had if he stayed with Toronto? Why did he only end with 2?
Canada had him gassed up, he thought he was Lebron, He thought we wern't good enough to repeat despite our 2 biggest competiors only getting weaker that year, he thought he could just go win where ever.
Little did he know he was leaving the best situation he will ever have the rest of his career. To be the champs you got to beat the champs

I don't know what Lue is doing with Bev and Morris. They gave kennard a guy who can hit 3s and ball handle a 64 million dollar contract... he hasn't touched the floor.
The brough serge in casue they lacked a toughness and leader, he has played 19 minutes.
Serge is the type of guy who can rally troops in the locker room, by all account he was the one to bring the team together when we were down 0-2 to the bucks. Something tells me if serge tried that after last night, P.G, Bev and Morris would tell him to shut the fuck up. Despite the dude playing in 2 finals, having a chip and countless deep playoff runs. Something none of those guys have done.To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Leonard never went through iwhatvthise two did, so he didn’t understand what it takes to construct a winner.
Maybe they can pull it out but so far the Clippers look worse than last year.

But that's all irrelevant. They are so deep in the tax and we would need to send back so much salary they just would never make the trade. If Kawhi walks they likely just take the 40M in savings, try to trade PG for some draft assets, and survive.
If Kawhi wants to come back and sign for 10-15M less than his max, great. But don't expect the Clippers to participate in that. And honestly, Kawhi literally walked away from a champion to play close to home, he's not coming back even if we had the max to offer him.

Derrick Rose all of a sudden has become the Knicks go to guy in these playoffs. That's just not gonna work. Randle predictably has completely disappeared. His playing style where he just go 1 on 1 and jack up difficult shots is just not gonna work in the playoffs especially when you're not a good shooter. I hope the Knicks give him a max contract this offseason.Mamba Mentality

Why the heck would we trade Siakam if we are getting Kawhi back? That shifts Pascal back into the second scorer role where he was awesome without any of the drawbacks that have come from him being forced up a spot since Kawhi left.

I think it is doable especially if they sign Kawhi for the max and for some otherworldly reason he decide to be traded to the Raptors, the close to 50 million salary plus the 7 million per of Zubac would compensate all the salaries going their way with Siakam 33 million, Van Vleet 19.6 million and Boucher’s 7 million. The 2021 FRP, 2022 FRP and 2 SRPs from the Raptors would be way more than enough versus what they will get if they rid of George instead of Kawhi.
Raptors can still sign Kyle Lowry with their salary cap, then hopefully Norm with his value now plummeting may consider the MLE.
