How TF does anybody vote for Cade @ #1? I mean, if Barnes gets Cade's unlimited usage with no incentive to win games; then Scottie might be putting up a stat-line somewhere near 24/12/6, but easily 20/10/5, which I think would be historic for a rookie.

All 3 teams sucked last year. Only one still does. There are other reasons Toronto and Cleveland are much much better than last year, but one of those reasons is definitely Barnes and Mobleys additions and contributions.

yeah i like rusillo but disagree with him on this one, obviously. he basically said that he's never subscribed to the win argument when it comes to ROY, and that he thought cade had the most difficult job on a possession by possession basis. he acknowledged that cade's argument falls apart when looking at efficiency/the advanced numbers, and said he really loves barnes and mobley as well.

he's not alone though. i've seen a few picks for cade. not sure how many of the people below have a real vote though (rusillo does for sure).

Yeah, Cade has the most difficult job.... and he's failing miserably at it, except for 1 month. Are we handing out ROTY based on 1 hot month? That's the other problem I have with voting for Cade.

All leading up to the season the media had Toronto missing the playoffs, a rebuild year, 35 wins. Now they win 48 and get the 5 seed and all of a sudden scottie is penalized for winning because he's surrounded by "championship pedigree". Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

i gamble on boxing pretty much everey weekend and since scottie has now won rom two times ...my opniion....mobely winning it is now a roberry....its not a bad decision...it is a robbery...like golovkin draw agaisnt canelo in teh 1st fight

Articulate, very intelligent based on his responses and HE totally nailed it on why he should be the ROY

I am so proud of myself that I defended the idea in my own little way of him starting to fasttrack his development versus him coming off the bench. The backward opinion then on why start him when he was a bench player in college. Thanks NN and I am sure stronger push of support by both Masai and Bobby to start him versus having him wait for his turn.

do you think it would have made a difference if it was announced at midnight EST last night after the late games ended? they have to wait until the evaluation period is over (ie. until the april games are concluded)

it shuldve been announced on apirl 4 or 5 th....like malachis was on may 4th last year...and no its not just me thats pissed....how do you think scottie and his family feel right now....its crooked....tehy point blank stole something form scottie barnes.....imo...someon had a very large postion on mobely to win roy....and thats why they held out the rom annoncement until the day of teh vote

thanks....i stand corrected....just bad luck for scottie bcz if they announce this on friday imo he wins teh roy...i tihnk wining the rom two times to evans one wouldve sealed the deal...again...thanks for the research
