I liked Lou's point of Scottie being a guy that should be outplaying Fred and Pascal as the best player on the team. He doesn't have to initiate sets, but has to demand the ball when he gets to his spots and maybe that was a Nurse thing as apposed to a Scottie thing. Either way it's all got to change and the sooner Scottie can prove he's the leader, the better.
21 year olds in their 2nd season don't steal shots from 29 year olds that made all star teams and all nba. It's just such a dumb take.
Zero chance Pascal and Fred were willing to take a back seat to Scottie. Especially with both of them playing for contracts.

Its also a coaching thing in a way, if there are spots that the coaches think Scottie will excel in, get him to those spots. Unfortunately last year's offense was everyone isoing and trying to create something. Fred, Pascal, Scottie, Gary, OG, hell even Precious.

He means if Scottie wants to take the jump into stardom, he has to take it upon himself to show it, not have the team trade everyone and build around him for him to finally show it.

Alright, everything riding on Scottie being ready to take on a lot more creation right away.

If Dennis is the other option I wanna try Scottie as starting PG. At least if that works we'd have something.

Scottie gets the bump to second option now so fingers crossed he's ready to step up. I'm thinking it's going to be a big year for him. 18pts/8rebs/7ast sound about right to everyone?

He was referencing a stretch of games without Pascal or Fred.

I don't know why people always equate production with development. His production is going to be inflated because he gets the ball more but will he develop in significant way? We will have to see.
Can't whine about him playing behind other guys stunting his development and then do the same when he gets moved up a spot
You don't think 18/8/7 is achievable for Scottie this season?

There's a lot riding on Scotties development for the upcoming season. If he hasn't massively improved his play creation we might be in for another frustrating season ahead.

I think if his turnovers go up, his fg% crumbles, his shot doesn't improve I'll care little if he averages 18/8/7

Scottie did have a pretty good game in game 10.
19 pts, 10 reb, 4 ast
We also went 2-1 during that stretch beating Chicago and Detroit and losing to Indiana.
Just not much of a sample size or chance for him to assert himself. So I still think the take is dumb.
