They do it all the time. Thorpe went hard at Rico Hines last year, heavily critiquing his off-season runs as a waste of training time. Pegged Scottie's poor 2nd year on it.

I have no idea if Barnes needs new trainers or whatever but the first video looks like he's warming up and it's 1:00 long, so we can't possible know if that's indicative of what he's doing. The second video is a 53 second clip of some one-on-one and we don't have any context.

The first video could be an infomercial for a heavy basketball for all we know. Or just giving fans a behind the scenes look at his warm-up. Either way I appreciate the share. Do people really think Scottie isn't absolutely working his ass off to prep for this season?

I know it's the doldrums of the offseason but cmon. As if this guy is drawing conclusions from a warm-up and a one-on-one (against one of the best defenders in the world no less).

Raptors has to intervene if they want him to reach that next level.
The lack of improvement is obvious in that video.
Even if it's a random 1v1,scrimmage, etc,
Scottie needs to dominate if he really wants to take his game to the next level.
So far we are not seeing this.
