Let's not forget the Jazz... who traded their 2 all-stars before the season even started. Bucks also missing Middleton.
    Yup, they're in the half
Seems like a lot more A list players are injured this season....and early

    • Scottie should channel his inner Kawhi.
      For his long term health

Sit out 75% of the games?
-Kawhi just came back and he's sitting out again

        • Is it ok to criticize the golden boy now? because that was another horrific performance from him on BOTH ends of the floor. Offensively he's not doing anything but shoot 3's even though he's not a good 3pt shooter. He's not posting up, he's not attacking the hoop, his body language is horrible when he's not getting the ball. Defensively he's horrible. He's just letting his guys blow by him pretty easily. He's a huge reason why their defense was so bad in the 1st half.

And no, he's not a point guard.

            • the main thing i'm worried about is that i think he's still playing hurt. there were multiple efforts for boards and loose balls that he just did not even consider making.

              • I really think he is just not amuse of Nick Nurse politicking.

The benching last game and this game…how he is being use with no clear direction on who the fuck should be initiating plays, very obvious in the first quarter.

Masai may have to choose what is the direction of this team.

VanVleet is far off from relinquishing his position from that hierarchy.

                  • Well he is a sophomore. If it takes this season to help him figure out what he needs to work on, so be it. He was on a high last season after exceeding expectations and winning ROTY.

He has the tools to be a star, he just needs to figure out how to reach it.

Did this guy make that statement after his 6 games in October to start the year when he was shooting over 50% from 3 point land? Scottie is in a bit of a sophomore slump and needs to find a way to get out of it. Get back to doing the dirty work and things will turn around. If he puts another 6 game stretch together to begin December like he did in October, what will people be saying about him then?

Team cohesion is a factor. We have not seen a consistent rotation yet due to injuries. He'll start finding his spots again soon.

i think there are a lot of expectations he put on himself as well as people put on him. He seems to not be playing with joy like before

                          His 3 point shooting improved.
                          His handles improved a bit.
                          And he got injured.

I bet he is still injured.
Healthy Scottie isn't afraid of the dirty work.

The point about team cohesion is a good one. I notice Scottie is most comfortable in his role when he shares the floor with Pascal. He knows exactly what to do and where to be. When Pascal was injured Scottie sort of drifted without that clear understanding of what his role is. Some of that is on Scottie to establish himself and some of that is on Nurse for not making it clear.
