Is that recent? Looks a bit like rookie year Scottie.
It was posted over a year ago. Before last season.

    Agree.
    that take is indeed strange.

Bleacher Report even has Scottie at 10 in their under 22 best prospect list.
    Maxey came in at 13th.
That’s a lot closer than I would’ve thought, but I guess Scottie’s stock has really fallen.

Strange take, because I would expect the opinion around the league to be the opposite... and that's after a down year from Barnes.

Strange how? They're one year apart (I think) and Maxey just averaged 20pts on excellent FG% at the guard position in a year he was asked to flip back and forth between starting and coming off the bench. For Barnes it's all about his potential to one day become a good player. Not a sure bet by any means.

Yeah, if it's a play for the future then a Barnes/Maxey fit could be nice, but a Siakam/Maxey fit could be nice right now. Especially if we could keep OG in the trade. We'd have to get more than Maxey back since we'd be sending more than Barnes out in the trade. However, if you asked a bunch of executives around the league if they would trade Maxey for Barnes, they would probably say no, Maxey is too good right now and Barnes may never reach his potential.

He'd be a good fit next to Barnes. But no way is Masai trading Barnes. Let alone for Maxey. Scottie "franchise" Barnes is our only untouchable.

Would anyone be interested in a trade centered around Scottie to Portland, Dame to Philly and Maxey to Toronto? Obviously lots of other parts needed to be moved to match Dames outgoing salary.
It's a no for me. Maybe OG, maybe... but even then!..

I don't think that's what is going on at all. All of these guys are doing workouts, drills, training, etc. and then these are scrimmages. The pro-am stuff is more community oriented and a fun event for the locals, players, etc.

Not everything has to be joyless and full of blood, sweat and tears. You're taking all this way too seriously.
People are posting clips every year like it's relevant. Literally just happened in this forum and why I'm discussing it. If they didn't I wouldn't be mentioning it.

These runs are good for building stamina, timing and shaking off rusts.
    And that's about it.

Is there any other major sport where guys play joke games and pretend it's prep for the regular season?
