  • God I love that Nets keep on loosing..
So overrated..all the guys that I can't stand..Harden is so overrated, bum ass..Irving was not reason that Lebron won that Chip in Cleveland, Lebron is, plus Draymond suspension. As for twitter boy crybaby Durant.. Golden State gave u those chips and u left them for this...lol..
    Love it...Like Masai said..F^$$^ Brooklyn..

Simmons could be the perfect fit, especially if Harris comes back. Simmons and 4 deadly shooters (KD, Kyrie, Mills, Harris) would unlock his potential like Giannis.

And Embiid + Harden is downright scary. Sounds like a great trade idea for both teams.
here is the thing.. it is scary but the window is short. Harden is clearly not interested in really pushing himself in the work out category. Embiid's health is always going to be a worry. It extends both of their chances but I don't think it ultimately gets done as a deal... at least not now. I don't think a team with the two of them has a real shot either for more than a 2 year window. That may be enough. That could be satisfactory.

Yea I don't get why the nets would do it. Like might as well just actually play with the 3 guys you got. They basically haven't played together and have almost been there for 2 years. If harden wants to go in the summer then just do the sign and trade then
To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Well that's completely meaningless. Teams lie through their teeth constantly.

That said, of course the most likely outcome is them not trading Harden.

I can see them wanting to try to have a go at it and then getting harden to opt in to get what he wants

I think Harden himself reiterated that he wanted to win a chip with the Nets.

I'm sorry, Steve Nash was great player, but as a coach..horrible.
Harden is Trash, big time..Top 100th player..lol, are u serious..
These guys have no clue about basketball..I rather have Kyle Lowry than Harden..it's not always about talent, but the heart. Harden is not a team player, Westbrook, John Wall, u want me 2 keep going..Individuality doesn't win championship..team does..Yes, u need superstars, but if u don't have the mentality 2 lead..so other guys 2 follow, u can't win..
That's why ppl need 2 appreciate Kyle Lowry more, Kawli won us the chip..but Kyle was the Heart..he was the Leader.

Unfortunately there's so many players today that are like that.
This is why we have to appreciate players like Fred who put in the work. Very good example and mentor for our rooks.

Not scared of the bucks. Cleveland is unproven but I think we would match up well. Philly is the only team that you worry about. I also agree if you get Turner or a real center of some kind youmove trent to the bench although again it would depend on match ups
I've seen this everywhere around here lately... people talking about The Heat/Sixers/Brooklyn/Cavs/Bulls.... and leaving the Bucks entirely out of the equation.

I know their record isn't great all things considered... but they're still the champs and not much has changed from last year. They've been without Brook, but he'll come back eventually. Portis has had a great season. They still scare me more than anybody tbh. Feels to me like people are sleeping on the champs.

(sorry... felt like more of an everything 2021-2022 season thread than tradeline thread, where this quote is from...)

I think its mainly me actually. I could be wrong though.

I think the Bucks are dangerous but there is something about that team where we always seem to have their number. I think they will need Lopez but he has been out this entire time and I don't know how he will look. I agree though they are dangerous. So that is fair maybe I am discounting them a bit much. I also think that they aren't like us in our chip defence year. We had something to prove during that regular season because we had lost Kawhi so I think it was about proving how good we were without. Everyone had something to prove. I think the bucks aren't.. cocky... but they don't care about regular season standings. Nets have no advantage in seeking homecourt advantage given that Kyrie won't be able to play at home and if it was against us he can't play at all. I don't think we will face the nets in the first round.

Either way. I don't think we can "steam roll" through the east. I do think we are a team that is equipped with a number of relatively young players with championship.. not just playoffs, but championship experience. That gives us an edge over some of the younger teams like the Cavs, or the Bulls who have largely lacked a ton of experience. Miami scares me a bit but I also just think we match up well against them. I think we can take a lot of those teams to 7 games. It is just how I feel. Especially if we get either depth or a center. Depth would allow us to be able to rest up between now and then.. Again though I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up with us as the 5 spot Cleveland as the 4 spot. If that happens it would be a really good series but I personally think even if we don't make a move ... if we go in 100% healthy we can beat the cavs. Cavs got better today but they still lack experience minus Kevin Love.

If we end up staying in the 6th spot it narrows it down to the heat, bucks, bulls. I can see the bulls ending up in that spot and I am not afraid. Bucks have Giannis and Giannis is Giannis. Giannis has thus far seemingly improved his free throw rate. The question is will that trickle through to the playoffs? Also can you force giannis to give the ball up and force Middleton to make those decisions. I think that is realistically how you beat the bucks. I trust nurse over bud.

If we add a piece. then I think we can match up with the best without question.

                            • Crazy that the first 5 teams in the east are separated by 1.5 games and then the next 4 teams are also separated by 1.5 games (starting 4 games back of the top group). Should be a crazy sprint to the finish
