Such a strange world we live in where a person who is paid 45 million a year to play basketball sits out because the situation isn't perfect.
I'd give my left arm to take 2% of that and play in Siberia. Or on any crap team.

Steph Curry is shooting 51.7% on 3s against "very tight" or "tight" defense this season, according to nba.com's tracking stats
nba.com source (Curry is 31 of 60 on 3s with a defender within 4 feet of him, which nba.com defines as "tight" (2-4 ft) or "very tight" (0-2 ft))
As insane as Curry's numbers have been overall, this is probably one of his craziest statistics. The guy seems completely unfazed by defensive pressure on his shots. For reference, Curry was at 37.7% on these tightly contested shots last season, and he shot 38.1% on such shots in his historic 2015-16 season. I don't know what you do with this guy as an opposing team lol.
Edit: for those who want to see how ridiculous this is compared to the rest of the league, you can compare Steph's performance on "tight" 3s (2-4 ft from nearest defender) vs the rest of the league here. nba.com doesn't let you group "tight" and "very tight" together for this unfortunately, so I just went with the "tight" category since Steph has 55 attempts in that category and only 5 attempts in the "very tight" category." Most other players also only have a few attempts in this "very tight" category, so it's not that meaningful. So anyways, Steph is blowing the rest of the league out of the water here. He's 28 of 55 on "tight" contested 3s (50.1%). None one with similar number of attempts is even remotely close. It's actually hilarious -- it's just a list of other guys all around like 30% or so. You have to get all the way down to Carmelo to find another guy over 40%, and Carmelo has only taken 35 such attempts (at 42.9%).Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer reported Monday that there is an expectation around the NBA that Christian Wood will receive significant trade interest and that the Rockets wil entertain offers for him. O’Connor notes that one of the reasons Wood signed in Houston was to play with James Harden, who is no longer with the team.
Wood, who is still only 26, is the Rockets’ leading scorer (16.4 points per game) and rebounder (11.3 boards per game) this season. He is in the second year of a three-year, $41 million contract.

Porter Jr. Done for the season. Think this is his 2nd at least and maybe 3rd back surgery. was the concern coming into the draft that he back was going to cut his career short. Nuggets might be fucked as they just gave him the max extension if and he cant come back healthyTo be the champs you got to beat the champs
