  • Thank God we have only have to give up a decade old Pretender to get our one and only Championship…so fortunate.

Derozan is delusional like VanVleet, both sewn of the same thread who thinks they have the talent to carry a team to the promise land.

    Just fuck off you both.

I gots lots o love for DeRozan.
But he's a B level complementary star that Toronto is known for....

Like Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady and even Kawhi, never won a thing once they left here; never know what could have been.

Scottie showed glimpses that he can be a top tier talent and a game changer when it mattered most/ under the bright lights.

I am excited of the possibilities.

I'm hopeful but the jury is still out as to whether he can be a top 15 in the league type guy and I don't think we'll find out with both Fred and Siakam here. Masai has to make changes.

A Tyrese Maxey or SGA beside Scottie would be a nice 1-2 punch

True true, but you never know, he may one day ask that he wants to go home

                  The West is getting old and/or injured fast; lebron/Davis, Kawhi/PG, Curry/Klay, Durant/CP can't play forever and Jokic/Murray aren't unbeatable.

Shai is in a great place there actually, not sure why he'd want to come to Toronto with what would be left of this roster....

The next pipe dream of Masai

                    • I've always maintained that when these young Canadian stars start entering unrestricted free agency or are just fed up with their current teams, that's when Toronto becomes a free agent/ star destination.

Realistically take any of the great wing players from Team Canada and put them in a Raptors jersey and we are in a different position.
                      Murray
                      Shai
                      Mathurin
                      Sharpe
                      Barrett
                      Wiggins

So if Shai is the pipe dream, then I'm going to keep hitting that pipe.

Man, I hadn't heard Drake's name in a couple of months and it was nice. He pretty much disappeared when the bright lights turned off the Raptors. Maybe the "Global Amb ass ador" can find time to do more than tweet out photos now ......

                        • Listening to Bill Simmons .. He thinks this years Lakers team was good .. They would have beat the 2019 Raptors ..

                          • Kyle's headed to the finals again. Glad to see the Celtics lose. The talking heads were so sure they would beat the Heat. Kyle has been pretty solid in a lot of these games. I admit I haven't watched them all.

And Lavar Ball thinks he would’ve beaten MJ. None of these theoreticals matter.

i think you misinterpreted... he was saying that laker fans shouldn't freak out about losing to denver because he thinks denver is the best team of the last 5 years, not that the lakers were better than any team of the last 5 years. and he never mentions the raptors
