  • JV and the Griz take down the Lake show tonight. JV with 22pts, 20reb. It was a back to back and he had 25 rebounds yesterday. 45 rebounds in two days. Griz commentators were saying that’s a franchise record. Nice to see him getting nice burn and playing very well in the late stages of the game.

(also Dillon Brooks looked great and had 24pts)

That game was WITH lebron and Davis. Pretty impressive.
And at 105-88, it wasn't even close, hope the Grizz make the post season.

      • Whoa, Clippers picked up Reggie Jackson for nothing? Dang, I knew they'd be able to beef up their depth around Kawhi on the buyout market.

They're 10-0 with both Kawhi and PG in the lineup. If they can somehow stay healthy through the playoff grind, it's a Bucks/Clippers final.

For real, though. There are waaaay more important things to support in this world, but if somebody started a GoFundMe page to get JV his ring, I wouldn’t be upset. Lol.

I mean, couldn’t that cheap-ass MLSE board just get a fake ring off AliExpress, just for the symbolic gesture of giving JV his ring.

Why? It's fun for me and anyone can just skip my pro-JV comments any time they choose.

"To Jonas Valanciunas, rebounding is not complicated. It’s just what he does. So when he was asked to explain why he’s so good at it, well, he gave a simple answer.

                    “Effort! Effort! Effort!”

It’s not that simple, of course, even if Valanciunas certainly makes it appear that way. The 7-foot-0 Lithuanian is putting up impressive numbers on the glass of late, including a recent two-game stretch against the Kings and the Lakers in which he set a new team record by pulling down a combined 44 rebounds. Anytime you can wipe Grizzlies legend Zach Randolph out of the record books, you’ve done something very special."

                        • JV had another big game yesterday in a loss. 27/16 with a team high +11 on 9/10 shooting. Went to the line 13 times as well.

AD is going to hate playoff JV.

Can you still buy replica rings online? I'll mail one to JV.
