Not sure why people get their panties in a knot every time I bring up Kyle's lack of scoring.

I was his biggest supporter here most know that, but I also can call a spade a spade. Look: Kyle is still an elite basketball player. The Miami heat are arguably the best team in the league right now. BUT, they are thriving because Kyle is the keys to turn on the engine, which has Jimmy and bam, and herro taking a leap. 36 year old Kyle lowry needs to be surrounded by elite scorers to make it work, because his individual shot creation is long past its best before date.

Both can be true, they're not mutually exclusive.

        • DeRozan is off to a fast start of the season !!! All those people in the media slamming the signing .. He went to Pops University and I think he is a better player for being a Spur for 3 years .

DeRozan 37 , 37 and 32 points in last 3 games .. He is earning every penny of the salary all experts thought was too much . So happy for the guy

          • ^^^ Oh yes he is putting up great numbers in the regular season…definitely something to acknowledge but we have seen this before.
So hold your horses, judge him when it matters most.

Still very impressive what he is doing. Spurs helped him become a better passer and had him facilitate the offense more but think they took away his "go drop 35 attitude". It pretty crazy that he played a different way for 3 season goes back to a true SG and looks like 2016 demar again

Everyone thought he was coming to support Zach lavine. Turns out it's the other way around.

As Kyle lowry once said "its them who gotta adjust to us"

                  • It's the classic Lowry vs Smart match up tonight. Feels like it's a party we weren't invited to. That said, I'm enjoying the Barnesfire more.

I don't even have a post on this page? Having said that, I tend to just disagree with you out of principle.

Question .. What does DeRozan and Butler have to do with each other ?

We can agree that DeRozan as the number 1 scoring option in a playoff run isn't a receipt for success but did he ever have a player like Zach Lavine
as a team mate ? Your stats are all well researched ( although why again is he compared to Butler )

Can we agree that maybe DeRozan maybe not the same player he used to and maybe has grown .

I was just giving him some props .. After a summer of media ragging on him for being paid too much . He is averaging 27 points a game the same avg as JJ Morrant who the league is gushing over right now ..

                              • I feared it might look worse so I'm thankful & hopeful for that much at least, but you really hate to see it. Prayers up for Kyle. Hopefully he'll be able to quickly recover from that. Man deserves to have a great year.
