Thank you! I'm away for a week starting Sat., so I don't want to start one up and not be able to do the next if they win.

What exactly is the injury to OG?
I have no idea - that's what's kind of frustrating hey? As other's have mentioned - hip pointer in practice - to out for the foreseeable. Sucks.

So in evaluating this team, my mind (at least) is all over the place. Is there a soft tank in place (has management determined we need more high end talent and the only way to get that is through the top of the draft)? Are we showcasing players for trade.... FVV, Pascal, GTJ, or even Precious? Or have we just been really unlucky with injuries? It's probably the latter but this management group has shown they can be very cagey, developing players and competing hard in games they've deliberately handicapped themselves in.

I find it really hard to evaluate this team. It seems that if healthy they could be solid and if they could add a player like Myles Turner they could be a problem, but I really don't know what to make of this season at this stage. I'd sure like to see them healthy for a stretch, it would be a nice Christmas present - just to see what we have!

Hip pointer.. basically bruising of the hip. He apparently got hurt in practice and not in a game.

I haven't really kept track, but has OG been playing a lot of minutes at C? Could the injury be a result of him trying to defend against bigger players?
We switch a lot. I think Barnes has probably played as much as OG has. They say he got hurt in practice. You get it if you got hit directly in the hip area, or if you fall and hurt it. His hip may have gotten softened a bit playing in the post. Or he didn't, and he just got hit badly in practice (either by a player or via a fall). I don't think we'll know exactly what happened or what caused it.

He's always been a great 1-on-1 defender. His combination of length, speed and stamina is hard to beat in space, wether is an opposing guard or big. His trouble is when Nick asks him to go double a joe blow (despite said joe blow being already guarded by another good 1-on-1 defender), then his man is now open and we're relying on someone rotating Pascal's original spot

If we had Fred, Siakam, OG and Trent all on their stance just focusing on their own guy, they'd all be very hard to beat. I wish we did that for at least half the game, then use the other help to teach the more aggressive/riskier defence.

Pascal has looked really good. That is a big plus. Fred has gotten substantially better at taking the ball to the rack and making his layups under pressure, that's also a big plus. Now if we could get healthy and consistent! Hard to know what to make of this year until at least OG is back - him being out for the foreseeable future casts a bit of a pall over the season. It would certainly be nice to have Khem back too.

So who, exactly, is Fred calling out for being selfish here and chasing stats?

I would imagine he's pointing the finger at GTJ, who is always gambling for steals (and out of position) on defense and is a literal black hole on offense. Gary wasn't the problem last night.

    Maybe he's calling out Scottie?
He was talking about the bench guys.

Btw, did you just say Trent is a black hole on offense?

LOL we want the offense to be distributed equally. Players of the world unite. You got nothing to lose but your chains

Another cherry picked quote where he was actually sticking up for Pascal siakam and speaking from his perspective.

The anti-FVV socialists of the Republic has a strong spin group.
How is this anti-FVV? It's just a statement of fact about NBA pecking order with a backup quote by FVV explaining how that works, to the unwashed masses. Pecking order decides who gets to take the most shots and the last shot. It's totally relevant to the post it was in response to.

You're spinning more than Pascal's signature move on this one, Keon. And I'm not anti-FVV, btw. That ship sailed after game 2 of the Bucks series.
