We've made it!
Well, we almost made it.
Sorry for any of you who had tickets to see the Return of Serge.
Zoom, it is.
Sure 2021 wasn't a banner year for our Raps.
Hard to believe, speaking of Serge, the Championship run was just 2 years ago.
Alas, this year....not so much.
Injuries, illnesses, surgeries, suspensions.
And oh yeah....
That other big thing that derailed the season
But enough doom and gloom.
2021 wasn't all bad.
In fact, some things about it just make me feel like dancing
And, like the dawn of a new year, even this final hurrah of 2021 brings some promise
Hopefully we can get a preview of the group that is going to make a big run in 2022.
And if they make it to finals,
it's looking less and less that they're going to see these guys
Much like I can't hazard a guess at the Raptors starting lineup tonight,
I won't even try to guess who the Clippers bring over the border.
Any chance good ol' Number 2 makes the trip to cheer on the sidelines?
My head says he won't for all the obvious reasons.
My heart says he may have enough unused Shoppers Optimum Points to make it worth his while.
We'll see.
In either case,
I like what this guy said
So pop what ever bubbly you've got,
say goodbye to what ever you want to for 2021,
make all your resolutions for 2022.
But however it goes, here's a guaranteed prediction for 2022.
The Raps will either be the NBA Champions...
or the only legitimate Reigning NBA Champions.
Go Raps!
