VanVleet was inefficient against the Pistons in 42 minutes, shooting a dismal 28% from the field in 21 attempts

you just have to accept that fact…the box score don’t lie even how many times we rewatched that game lol.

though you could be right at the same time….it was a game that Siakam should have demanded the ball more…that was the game that Siakam should dominate but was more passive than usual…so effort could be in question

that said… you are not paying more attention to Boucher and Champaigne, they both showed up.
OK OK, it was Fred's fault...stupid 6' midget taking everyone's shots.

He is not stupid but he is a 6 footer and has the highest volume of shots within the team there is no denying that.

You like to be engaged in the discussion but I sense the sensitivity in your tone lol

Role players showing up to play means little when your big guns don't. None of Pascal, Fred, OG or Barnes played well, nor Birch. The defence was a mess right from the start. It wasn't just about guys missing shots (that happens), you can't be giving up 116 points per 100 to the league's worst offence. Pascal put up offensive numbers but even he was pretty suspect defensively, while the rest of the core couldn't hit a shot to save their lives (Fred was brutal, as you note, including 0 for 7 from 2 point range, but OG and Scottie were actually worse in terms of efficiency, combining for 24 points on 31 used possessions - compare that to Fred's 24 points on 23 used possessions - never mind Fred somehow managing 10 assists on a night where no one could hit anything). Throw in a bench unit that played heavier minutes because of Khem's injury (7 guys totaled 16 points on 21 used possessions), and... Voila. A loss to the Pistons.

This is what I wanted all along from you …a thorough analysis not those one liners that it was just a weird game .

well at least they recovered nicely against a relatively healthy Bucks.

let’s see if they can make it two in a row against another contender (even without the GROAT)
