I can definitely see why Nurse won't play his bench 20 minutes.
Boucher inconsistent, Achiuwa can't sink bunnies. Birch is just a guy
Svi, Banton, Yuta, Flynn, Champ, Bonga meh
Young, who knows but doubt he's the savioour.

When the starters are off, they get blown out by 30.
    Next ....

This team can't afford 3 starters with off nights. Actually I don't know of an NBA team that can.

Tonight they looked like a team that's fatigued and playing out the string until the All-Star break. It takes a lot of energy and focus to go on an 8-game winning streak, beating good teams, on multiple back-to-backs.

New Orleans can't miss and we can't hit the ocean even if we were standing on the beach.
we must be looking away from the ocean

When trent doesn't have it going offensively it seems to effect the rest of his game

The rotations in the first half made no sense. We start small and get destroyed by JV. Then JV checks out and we have not 1, but 3 centers (Birch, Boucher, Precious) on the floor at the same time, also with Thad, IIRC. The Pelicans, meanwhile, have the smallest & quickest guy on the floor (Alvarado) and he breaks down the defense and helps them extend the lead after we got it down to 5 points. We gave up a strength/size advantage to JV, and then we gave up a quickness advantage, because we had nobody who could stay in front of Alvarado, when we could have brought in Banton (who was benched for no reason).

Our bench in the first half was basically 4 small-ball centers (Boucher, Birch, Precious & Thad). That's crazy.

This game is the perfect example why i'm not sold on Trent. He shot the ball well the last 2 weeks, yes, but everyone know the way he was shooting was not sustainable.
So Trent is the new target?
Or Barnes? I can't keep it straight.

Still no Barnes. Is he going to get benched the whole game? I won't be surprised.

Boucher is somehow a +4 through this debacle.
