Too much focus on Birch here. The problem is Pascal and Fred are playing like shit. They're our stars and we need them playing well or we get blown out.
Add in Trent. All 3 combined shot about 32% in the last 2 games. Your top 3 scorers all being bad in the same game will almost always be really bad.

You can also make an argument that OG might be a tad overrated by the Toronto fanbase and media. Unlike a few other guys with defensive reputations (e.g. Mobley, Draymond, Turner, Roco, Carsuso, etc...), OG doesn't grade out as elite in any defensive advanced stat (e.g. EPM, 538 RAPTOR, LEBRON, etc...). And on offense, his TS% has plummeted while his USG% has barely increased.
Everybody talks about our record without a single starter, but it looks like that is mostly affected by OG and Gary missing games..

      Without OG: 6-11
      Without Trent: 2-7
      Without Pascal: 7-6
      Without Fred: 3-4
      Without Scottie: 5-4

i am not comparing og to those guys......im comparing og to gordon and the effect haywards absence has had on the charlotte hornets. if thad is the young that played for the bulls just one year ago....and bledsoe should the raptors get him... could get somewhat close to the eric that played in milwuakee......are the 2019-20 bulls 8-9 better than the raptors 8-9?....imo....thats what massai and webster were looking at when they got thad.

          ...might not be a bot?

          Maybe it's OG

          • what some people are not taking into consideratoin is that the numbers...both defensively and offensively....might be skewed against the raptors starting five. thats what happens when your guys play 38-40/game with no nights off unlike guys like booker and levine ...zach does not even play b2bs anymore. if healthy this is the type of team that is undervalued because there are no b2bs in the playoffs...a level playing field. the raptors have been extremely lucky to not have sustained any serious injuries with the load their starting five has had to endure. fvvs knee bruise is going to get better as long as his body does not instinctively overcompensate and create another injury

This is the losing streak in a nutshell. Everything else is noise. Birch could be playing like Shaq and we're not winning with those 3 shooting so poorly.

Did it take a left instead of a right?

This post aged badly vs the Nets..... but in a good way.

Yeah. The nut case runner probably has knee issues.
