Good ol’ fake NBA comeback.
Lebron with three bush league shots at Raps: throwing the ball at Barnes, shove in the back to Trent and the elbow to Siakam. Pascal definitely took exception to that elbow.
Achiuwa’s work on Lebron not to be dismissed. His first line of defense was really good and frustrated James. FVV with a subtly good game other than a few missed threes. Siakam, Barnes and Trent were great. Boucher quality minutes off the bench.

good:
- WIN!
- pascal having a monster game in almost every way. so glad he iced his final FT's. those always seem a bit rocky
- GTJ getting to the line, despite not shooting well again
- still dominating offensive rebounds
bad:
- this really should have been a 40 point blowout. instead it got waaaay too close.
- fred shouldn't have played. i think he looked terrible. 40 minutes? damn.
- overall scoring efficiency is not great, especially vs a team with literally zero defense. but i think thats mostly freds fault.
- scottie seems like hes getting the JV treatment. some touches to start the game and then nothing at the end.
hilarious:
- lebron throwing the ball at scottie and scottie not giving a shit
- GTJ pulling lebrons shorts down and he went ballistic
- lebron informing media he was NOT doing a post-game interview. damn he pissed!!!
- just read a tweet that westbrook is shooting 9% from three since the all-star break LOL. wowLast edited by iblastoff; Tue Mar 15, 2022, 02:03 AM.

Wire to wire win !
Trent 13 freethrows, 28 points, was so impactful on defense. Contrary to less than 5 posters belief, this 23 years old development is right on track.
Another good game from Precious
Siakam was steady
But once again, the best player of the game is the Rookie Mr. Scottie Barnes….17 points in the first half and was all over on defense, loose balls and a monster down low. 17 field goal attempts
OG wearing that black mask and black hoodie is so ready to be back on the court.
Malachi and his Burberry drip
Jamal Magloire is the cheerleader of this team
Section 102 of the crypt was loud of Raptors Fanatics….chanting Let’s go Raptors.
Gary Trent Senior is a big dude…like a linebacker

Keep it rolling! What a road trip so far. Lakers are a mess, but still, good win. Starters crushed, bench wasn't great. Weird rotations fed into that, asking Gary to take care of bench units all by himself is a real bad idea. But at least we tried it against a team we could handle a few runs from.

Watched it this morning. Pretty comfortable win from opening tip to end. Would have preferred a chance to get the garbage unit in for 3-4 minutes as we have that Clipper game tonight. But the Lakers sort of made it a game late. I never felt it was ever going to be a loss though. Raps just took the pedal off late, and the Lakers hit some shots.
Scottie was really good in the first quarter/half. He got into early foul trouble, which may have hurt the rhythm that he was playing at. The Lakers also adjusted a bit. He got his opportunities (17 total attempts). Was hoping he could match Mobley's 30.
Pascal was his typical self. There are some teams he just does really well against, and the Lakers are on that list. He was getting to his spots. Got his free throws to go down, and got to the line 10 times. Hit a couple of 3's. A really nice block at the rim. He also got elbowed in the face.
Gary ended up with the most points, primarily by scoring at the line. He was pretty inefficient, but it didn't matter.
Fred had a really bad scoring game. He had that one air ball late. Couldn't get to the rim. Only 3-14. I'm sure that will improve. But he did some of those other things that makes him a good player. 7 assists, 7 boards and a steal. Only 2 turnovers. Still managed to be +21 in this game.
Precious was the primary defender on Lebron which I was surprised by. Typically Barnes likes to defend the teams best player (Jokic, Luka, Tatum, etc). He had his moments on Lebron, but Precious was the main defender, at least early.. and it worked. Precious is strong and mobile enough to stay in front of Lebron. Pascal did a pretty good job as well.
The Killer B's line up sort of sucked.. they really needed Barnes, or maybe the game against the Nuggets was just a one-off. Banton especially looked really bad. Boucher hit a couple of 3's and ended up with 13/8 which is really good. Birch was invisible. Thad wasn't really useful at all in this one.
It didn't really matter.. the Lakers are just bad. Too bad Lebron got his 30 points. We had him at I believe 8 points at half. So he found a way to score 22 in the second half. That's the only thing he's caring about. And so even though he looked like a sour puss all game, he achieved his goal.
