Gobert Is taking the same lumps every "best player on the team" takes when their team continually fails in the playoffs. Ask demar and Kyle about how far regular season accolades get you.

Gobert does get "exposed" in a sense when he has to guard the perimeter, but thats on the fault of the roster too, he has to be everywhere because the perimeter defenders are terrible.

That's what I just said. People are using Gobert as a scapegoat. If they truly want to maximize Gobert's ability then they should surround him with great or even good perimeter defenders. Robert Williams is not getting exposed defensively because the Celtics have great perimeter defenders. Smart, Brown, Tatum, White, Grant Williams. All he needs to do is rebound and protect the rim.
