    Also the highest draft pick.

hope he gets a ring, he deserves it.
Why does he deserve it, beyond the Canadian bias? He's been a floating under achiever most of his career.
Decent enough player, seems like a nice guy. But "deserves" it?

I don't think any player deserves on but if you want to find a Canadian who deserves a Chip, it was Steve Nash.

Wiggins has been the Warriors second best player in these playoffs.

Luka's defense is so horrible I don't know how he can even be called a superstar. Even dreymond was blowing by him like Lillard vs a high school player. Mavs defense is horrible overall too.
If he doesn't improve no team he's on will ever win a championship.

          Wiggins had a great game.
Well, it's hard to win a championship when Dwight Powell is your starting C. It's hard to win a championship when Brunson and Dinwiddie are your second and third best players. It's hard to win a championship when one of your starter go 0/10 from the field and 0/7 from 3 in a must win game.

Luka's defense is not an issue. The issue is he's surrounded by a bunch of role players. It's a miracle that the Mavs made it this far. If the Mavs had one all star, doesn't have to be a superstar, just an all star like say a Siakam. If they had someone like that they'd probably win the championship.

They've been getting by because Luka is Luka and their shooters have been hitting shots for most of the Playoffs.

luka's defense is definitely part of the issue. luka's ball dominance is another big part of the issue. those role players look a lot better when luka is not creating every single shot for that team, as it has been for all ball dominant players for time immemorial. and pascal siakam playing next to luka is also a role player, not an all star

He deserves it because he's a hard worker and the only Canadian #1 pick.
Some are even dissing him as being a bust a few years back.
He turned round and picked up his game when he joined GSW. He's now a good dependable 2 way player. Isn't that good enough reason?

Nash deserves it too of course, but that's an entirely different story.

He's not the only Canadian #1 pick. Anthony Bennett waves hello.

                    Bennet deserves a ring too.
                    IF he can get one.

OK if that's the criteria, no he doesn't deserve it for being a hard working Canadian. Half the kids working at Tim Hortons must deserve a chip too

PS the knock against him was always he lacked the work ethic and squandered his talent.

Why does Nash “deserve” a ring? He was a sieve on defense and he benefited from D’Antoni’s system when it was new and caught teams off guard in the regular season. His 2 MVPs are probably more than he actually deserved.

                          • FT advantage for the bad guys was 68 to 28 over the two games in boston, or 68 to 20 if you take away the 8 free throws in the last 67 seconds of game 3 when boston was intentionally fouling to stop the clock.

refs made absolutely sure this was going to be at least an even series leaving town.

i turned it off midway through the second Q but was laughing at van gundy and jackson giving kudos to horford and grant williams for raising their hands when they got called for fouls. you'd see a lot more players taking responsibility for fouls if the refs only called one foul per quarter on their teams.

not saying it's why they lost at all but it sure made it difficult for miami to even come close to getting back in the game

also extra hilarious how the pre-game narrative was that the celtics need to stop bitching at the refs when they already get every single call.

                            holy shit i hate boston

What kind of analogy is that. Lol
Hardworking kids at Tim's deserve a raise too though.

Also I can't understand why you don't think Wiggins deserve a ring.
