Philly should have definitely beaten them. We were very banged up. They have top 3 player in the world, another supposed top 10-15 player, and lots of good role players. They are built for now.

If we don't choke away game 3 we're headed to Philly motivated as hell. Giving Embiid that wide open shot with 0.9s left is going to haunt me all offseason. There is a reason no one has ever come back from being down 0-3, it's incredibly difficult to beat a good team 4 times in a row. The only team that did it this playoffs was Boston.

1000%, we choked game 3 away and it changed our season end result permanently. There was a never gonna be a 3-0 comeback, as nice as it was to imagine. You can only keep harden and maxey down for so many games in a row.

People saying "we're better without him" are just idiots. We're better without the version of him we had at the end? Yeah, maybe, I could see that. But a healthy Fred VanVleet is arguably our best defender, inarguably our best shooter, and our leader.

The narrative guys aren't going to talk about this but maybe the reason he struggled in this series because of the Raps defense and because of their length and not because he's washed up? I knew he's going to turn it up after G5 because Embiid called him out.
