Shams reporting Embiid out indefinitely due to orbital bone fracture & concussion suffered in game 6.
crazy.....could you imagine if we had forced a game 7? Philly fans would come with knives...actual ones

The last thing this team needs is Rudy.

This means something coming from this guy, he's went to war against many of the best western conference playoff teams over the last 10 years. Anybody "embarrassed" or overly disappointed needs to give their head a shake

The narrative guys aren't going to talk about this but maybe the reason he struggled in this series because of the Raps defense and because of their length and not because he's washed up? I knew he's going to turn it up after G5 because Embiid called him out.

The East is different. We play defense over here.

Healthy Fred all series would have made a HUGE difference. Can't underestimate the impact of our lone all star being hobbled and then out for the entire series. I think we did pretty damn good all things considered. Game 3 though, damn that game 3.
People saying "we're better without him" are just idiots. We're better without the version of him we had at the end? Yeah, maybe, I could see that. But a healthy Fred VanVleet is arguably our best defender, inarguably our best shooter, and our leader.

Philly was supposed to win. If they lost they should be in shambles.. especially if they lost 4 straight while being up 3-0. That would have been humiliating. Raptors put up an effort and lost.. Their mindset was they could beat anybody, but in reality they just aren't good enough.

That can change in a year or two though. Need Scottie to mature as he'll likely be our best player eventually.

But Siakam looked great. So the bubble stuff was because of the bubble.

We got something out of Precious. He's going to be a quality player in the league.

Boucher definitely has a place in the league, and any playoff contender should want him on their team.

Nurse is still a really good coach, and we are blessed to have him.

If we don't choke away game 3 we're headed to Philly motivated as hell. Giving Embiid that wide open shot with 0.9s left is going to haunt me all offseason. There is a reason no one has ever come back from being down 0-3, it's incredibly difficult to beat a good team 4 times in a row. The only team that did it this playoffs was Boston.
1000%, we choked game 3 away and it changed our season end result permanently. There was a never gonna be a 3-0 comeback, as nice as it was to imagine. You can only keep harden and maxey down for so many games in a row.

Philly should have definitely beaten them. We were very banged up. They have top 3 player in the world, another supposed top 10-15 player, and lots of good role players. They are built for now.

Wtf did you honestly expect going into this season, Dr. Lecter?

Welp, hell of a season. Got away from us to start the 3rd, and just didn't have the horsepower to climb back out. Great effort from the whole team to make this a series after a tough start and losing the game 3 coin toss.

    Onwards and upwards from here.
