You can crush a zone with a dominant rim presence too because zones can die from offensive rebounding as well as shooting.
Yeah, having a guy in the center of the zone can really help break it. How good is Gobert as a passer out of the post and with hitting cutters?

If you are going to tune into the Raptors Show, tune in on Tuesdays. It's just Will and Blake on that day, and it's a deep dive that all hardcore Raps fans would like. Will's reaction pods are great because he doesn't hold back, he let's his fandom take a hold of him. To be honest I could use one day of Alex and that's about it. I think he brings a lightness to the show but the schtick is getting a bit old, or over used.

I love the Lowe Post, I like Bill Simon's show...only listen to it here and there (love the Rewatchables), and the Mismatch is pretty good. I have to start listening to Draft Pods next.

Will and blake on tuesdays is really the best.

              Here are a few others:

Pensare basketball. The guy does good scottie cuts but he is a bit of a propaganda guy for scottie... not officially but he is obviously a huge fan.

To the point is an up and coming raptors show that has a few different guys do a few different takes:

              https://www.youtube.com/c/TOThePointpodcast

I think it depends on who is on their show because not all their guests are equally as good but some of them are solid and have counter points that aren't just the usual takes.

Basketball zone has the some stuff as well.

I love Thinking Basketball but it isn't solely raptors centric.

Dunc'd on is good as well.

Blake is one of my favorites for the Raptors if you want to listen to basketball.

Will and Alex are fun to listen to if you just want a good listen and nothing serious.

Zach and the guests he has is great for all around basketball.

he is too talented to have his own show hence why they stick him with others to build other shows up ... like honestly I like alish but JD is the weak link in that show and Blake totally carries the morning show.

                      • I can't listen to JD, every time he talks basketball he sounds like that stupid hockey fan coworker that thinks he knows the Raps and has to tell you all of his opinions. lol

Which sucks, because then I don't listen to Blake on the Morning Show

Well, they're a lot better than the Overdrive guys.

I'd be using Pascal or Scottie in that role, with Gobert in the dunker spot. Hard to zone up if you are stuck under the rim to prevent an easy dump off pass. Bring cutters and the rim defender has to make a choice, if the defence completely collapses you get an open shot for Fred/OG or the guy in the middle can attack the sagging D.
