If it’s for the min I’d take a risk on Ingles. Not a good defender but he’s a proven shooter

He will be solid for us.

Not sure I trust using the Magic's development system as a means of determining if a player is good or not.

ow do oyu find the on offf numbers or do you need cleaning the glass.
Impact stats are your best bet for defensive assessment, and even they have significant limitations, especially on the defensive end. Things like RAPM, EPM, RAPTOR, LEBRON, PIPM, etc.

On/offs are useful within a team context, far less so across different teams.

But they have some things to think about. Isaac should be back next year. And they also have Wendel Carter Jr.
I bet Bamba could be had for cheap, even if they don't take Chet. Both Jabari Smith and Paolo Banchero are about 6'9 / 6'10 and seem to have length.

Chet isn't really a traditional 5. He's basically a unicorn, just a really really skinny one. I don't think he can ever really defend traditional 5's in the NBA.

Bamba will have suitors though.
I don't think we'd be willing to part with what the magic need which is wings. Maybe in a 3-team deal?
Precious + Bamba would be a nice center rotation.
