Magic guard Gary Harris has suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (Twitter link). While it’s unclear how he sustained the injury, Harris will undergo further evaluation to determine how much time he’ll miss.

Basketball IQ, cutting, screening, passing
Meanwhile, Iguodala's playmaking is perhaps overrated in your mind? He does indeed average more assists than OG - about 50% more over the past decade or so (young Iggy was a different beast, and played a LOT of primary creator). But he also turned the ball over about 50% more as well so he's not really creating that much more than OG, and not more efficiently.
Anyway, your position is we should trade one of the few true 5 position defenders and one of our few high end catch and shoot three point shooters, that there's simply no place for him on the team, because he's not playing like Iguodala?

OG is one of the better cutters on the team. His passing has improved over the past couple of seasons, but that's not really his strength and likely never will be. He's a finisher more than a playmaker, no reason to pine after a guy like Iggy when OG is actually very good at what he does (a down year in efficiency notwithstanding). He was out of his depth as a creator, which you can critique as a lack of basketball IQ but I think would be wrong in doing so, it is very hard to learn that role against NBA defences. He showed nice flashes of making the correct pass against advantages he'd create in the mid to low post or on his power drives, but it will take a lot more reps for that to develop into real playmaking, reps he likely won't get in the near future unless he ends up on a rebuilding team with few alternative sources of offence.

Seems FVV is not going to sign that extension. For price certainty would you trade FVV for Terry Rozier. They seem to be pretty close in value. Same age , same scoring ability,
Rozier, OG, Barnes, Siakam, Carter Jr .
Anthony, xxxxx, OPJ, Young/ Boucher , Precious
Banton, Hermogomez, Koloko, Birch
Maybe the Raptors can trade Birch+ Svi + Wilson for Clarkson or Covington.

Also, no, I would not dramatically downgrade our back court by trading FVV for Rozier.

Precious didn't look very good in recent Rico Hines Run clips. He didn't look particularly hungry either. Small sample of course, but at a time when many are suggesting he could start this year, it'd be nice to see him look better. Hopefully he's putting in the work... big year for him.
*Saw subsequent highlights and he looked much more interested and wasn't settling for 3's. Really enjoying the Raptors content in these RHR highlightsLast edited by big boi; Sun Aug 28, 2022, 04:36 PM.

That's why they play the games. Belief is a wonderful thing. The actual results are beautiful.

Was just watching the Blue Jays celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 92 team. It got me thinking, the 2019 Raptors championship team will be talk about for years and years(rightfully so) just like that team and the 93 team.
And also, why does Joe Carter not have a statue and why is his number not retired? what the hell are they waiting for? he's just the most iconic player in your franchise history.Mamba Mentality
