Yeah, love to. I'm fairly sure Mogbo is a G League guy. 6'6 C who can't shoot. Koloko is an NBA C, hence why several teams are rumored to sign him.

Also your memory still sucks ass. We started Pascal/Scottie at C to begin the season and Koloko was getting 15mpg off the bench in game 1, 19 minutes in game 2, he was used as backup C out of the gate. Birch was usually a DNP and never started once, he played 20 games and averaged 8mpg. Then we used Koloko as a starter when Scottie got hurt. What do you call the player who gets a start when the starter is injured? Oh yeah, the backup. He also wasn't a foul machine. Averaged 2.2 PF per game, which is less than Poeltl did as a rookie playing less minutes.
Primer, Koloko just signed with the Lakers. Laker games are always on national TV. You can now watch Koloko warm the Lakers bench every night.

Abbas..where you at? Well, it’s been 30 seconds and no new thread so here it is

Off the Florida Keys (well, way off), there’s a guy called Koloko.

        And now he’s a Raptor

We know the narrative. Now go make your own story. Welcome to Toronto

Well, that had a run. I guess we can stop our debate of whether or not we wanted to give him a roster spot. Good luck. Just not against us.

poeltl as a rookie had the second most fouls per 100 possessions in the last ten years, so maybe not the best example to make your point.

koloko was second in the league in his rookie season, and would have been second in any of the last five years.

like i liked koloko well enough and hoped he would come back, but he was objectively a foul machine

Are the Raptors wrong in releasing him in the first place?
Orlando held on to Isaac despite his injury and other stuff.

There is a difference. Isaac was just always injured, he was never deemed medically unable to play.

Koloko recovered which is great, but he had the same thing that stopped Bosh's career, so it was uncertain at the time Koloko was let go if he would ever recover enough to be able to play again.

              • Smart move by Koloko. Knows he won't see the time of day behind a top ten centre in his prime

But he'll be the starting C for the Lakers once Davis tweaks his back

It's a great example to make my point because Poeltl is a top level center now and centers always foul a lot as rookies. The fact Koloko fouled less in more minutes was a good sign for his future. Doesn't matter now anyways Masai shit the bed and we lost him.

Guarantee he plays way more and does way better than Mogbo. Is the bet still on or what?

                        • Lowry became Precious/Dragic (instead of Maxey a year earlier), who became Thad (minus a FRP swap - Koloko), who we had to release to complete the Siakam trade, because we waited too long.

Masterclass in asset management from Masai & Bobby.

                            100%

If Mogbo doesn't become a rotation player THIS YEAR, you win.

                            • I thought Masai Ujiri assets was his relationship with players and especially players from Africa ? Then why with cap space and roster space
didn't he want to come back to the Raptors
