Any chance Jalen Harris gets invited?
I think there's a chance, but he has to be reinstated by the NBA first.

Once he is, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with the second two-way spot, or at least got a crack at it through a training camp invite.

Jalen Harris is probably behind Banton, Champagnie & RHJ . Due to his age , he is probably behind David Johnson as well. I hope we can see him in Raptors summer league but he might be better off finding a summer league team without too many prospects vying for NBA minutes.

Depends, at this point he's got to be thankful to get a fair shake at the tail of the bench, if he and his agent have been doing/saying the right things staying connected with the Raps.

He struggled with his 3-ball more than you'd like, but didn't forget how to score in Europe. And our 3rd unit could maybe use scoring pop and breakdown ability at the 2 (especially because of our use of Scottie and Banton as big primary guards), even something like: DJ, Harris, RHJr, Champagnie, Birch would be fun.

He's turning 24 mid August, he's not pushing 30. If Raps are allowed to have him in camp he could easily beat out all of those guys for a roster spot and / or minutes. I hope he's in the mix for us and we have him at training camp if not the summer league.

Why are people so hot for Jalen Harris? He hasn’t exactly been tearing it up in the CEBL and he was awful in Europe. Is this all about one 30pt game in the dying days of his one year in the NBA?

He played great the entire season with us so I base my opinion on his actual NBA experience. I'd like to see him in training camp. Not exactly hot for him but I think he could easily win a roster spot in camp.

He may not pushing 30 but he is the oldest prospect that missed an important year of development in the Raptors system & it still looks like his 3 pointer shot has not improved since his rookie year anywhere else (which is almost a must for a guard).

Again he may beat some guys at camp for a roster spot but you have to look at the long terms development as well & it may be the Jalen Harris is more or less a closer finished product than the names I've mentioned.

He was “great” for us the entire season? I must not remember that season very well. I remember a guy who didn’t play any real minutes until May, and had one big scoring game - in the last game of the year. And if he can’t be a star in the CEBL and can’t score in Europe, I don’t see how that translates to him being better in the NBA. He’s shooting in the 20s from 3 right now, and only 40% overall from the field. Time to move on.

Different leagues so I don't care about them. He played well in the actual NBA a year ago (13 games not 1). 0.472 from 3 on 2.8 attempts per game. I wanna see him in training camp or summer league or both before I write him off.

But it was Tampa Bay.... Boucher & Birch looked like starter caliber players there.

Boucher is starting caliber on a lot of teams and has been a fantastic bench piece. If Harris could provide Boucher production off the bench I'd be really fucking happy.

Well obviously but he seems like a feast or famine type of player which for Nick Nurse is not a recipe for success in his rotation.

Didn't Harris average 14/3/2 with a steal or something in Europe? Not exactly shitting the bed.
