Kessler had a 20 point, 21 rebound, 2 block game and helped his team win against the team that drafted and then traded him. Gobert only got 5 minutes and then had to sit out with an injury.. but that's pretty awesome stuff.

Thad and Koloko both had DNP-CD's today.

No idea who the Raps would have picked at 20 if they kept it. A lot say they would have still taken Koloko. Even if they did, seems like Walker was the real deal and eventually passed on him. Could be one of those what if's like taking Flynn over Bane.

In hindsight, you wouldn’t even trade Kessler, Beverley, Beasley & Vanderbilt straight up for Gobert…. let alone ALL your future draft capital.

I think they go Canadian take Andrew Nembhard or Caleb Houstan. Using 100% hindsight, you could trade our pick 20 for OKC’s 30 + their early second rounder and grab BOTH Nembhard and Koloko. They don’t have enough roster spots to keep all their picks.

I agree with T-Rex….you don’t trade your FRPs down for a really old vet like Thad. You only trade down to get more picks…. maybe. Or maybe you buy another pick. We need all the picks we can get.

We thought we were contenders last season, Thad trade made sense at the time. Things could easily have gone different in the Philly series and we beat Miami to make ECF and lose to Boston.

I really like Koloko though so not mad about it. Zero chance Masai takes white boy Kessler over Koloko. Nembhard seems realistic.
