I've been saying this for a long time. Why have we not heard from Masai or Bobby? these guys only seem to do an interview after the season or after the trade deadline(mostly Bobby). And the people who covers this never seem to criticize the front office? this management didn't do anything in the offseason to improve the team. That's why they are where they are right now. They still don't have a C, they still don't have a bench and there's not many shooters on the team.

I live in Vancouver and Jim Rutherford did a press conference yesterday to address the state of the Canucks. The media grilled him by the way. Atkins and Shapiro does a lot of interviews during the season. Dubas obviously is on the news everyday. Everytime the Jays or the Leafs underperform or make a bad trade, the Toronto media would be all over them. With the Raptors *crickets* They traded a first for Thad Young. Nobody really going to talk about that huh?
You keep bringing this up and we keep telling you the same thing. NBA GMs do not do press conferences during the season.

You'll get something after the trade deadline where they discuss what moves they made. Nothing before then.

I'm at peace. As and NBA fan you can cheer for three things. To win the championship. To hope your young growing team gets some playoff experience and maybe has an upset. Or to get the best out of the next draft/off season. I think options 1 and 2 are off the table for us so feel free to embrace cheering on the third one. Let's see Scottie grow into a future all star. Let's enjoy Precious having a productive second half. Just no need to be down if we drop one to Minnesota after they're coming off a game last night.

            Oh yeah...it's game day. Let's talk Raps/Wolves!

Can't sell hope unless they make clear of the team's direction.
Right now it is very confusing.

That was the point of Koreen's tweet from 2013 - a very similar situation to current day in that Raps fans were frustrated with a seemingly directionless organization.

Difference is there is still a ton of faith in Masai and not BC trying to throw a bandaid on by trading for Rudy Gay.

Oh, for sure. The team as a whole is in a much better position for a lot of reasons than 2013. Similar only to the extent that no one is quite sure what direction they are going in right now.

Consider last weekend for Toronto’s Jeff Dowtin Jr.

He was flying to meet 905s in Sioux Falls for Sunday game, through Chicago after being assigned to the G League, had a tight turnaround and missed his connection after a delay.

He got to South Dakota late Saturday for a 3 p.m. game Sunday, but got called about 10:30 a.m. Sunday to say get to New York, where the Raptors needed him with VanVleet questionable for Monday’s game against the Knicks.

Another delay, about three hours, and he finally got to New York on Sunday night.

VanVleet woke up Monday feeling fine, played about 40 minutes in the win over the Knicks and Dowtin never got on the court.

Five flights, three delays, a missed connection and no time on the court.
now go on and produce. you got 2 minutes

He's getting paid handsomely for those 2 minutes. Sucks to be a fringe NBA player.

Hey If that's why they got him for. To fly him around and sit on bench than more power to them
