So it looks like Mo Bamba (from the bench) said something *way* over the line to Austin Rivers that prompted Rivers to step into the bench area on the next offensive possession, which led to a brawl between the Magic and Timberpuppies.
Markelle Fultz' reaction to what Bamba said will inspire memes
Why are we judging players halfway through their rookie seasons. Branham can easily raise his shooting numbers and Koloko has the potential to be a lockdown rim protector
The only right thing to do would be to trade them together to a team that would have a shot at a title.
I think the point of the original tweet is that Fred and Pascal don't function well as a Dynamic Duo, rather they're a Dysfunctional Duo
From the tweet above, it's unclear if they meant 2021-22 and 2022-23, or 2020-21 and 2021-22. Let's look at 2021-22 and 2022-23, since it's a smaller set of games (data below indicates (2021-22)+(2022-23) stats)
Fred has scored at least 20 points in (33+22) games. Only (6+6) games with a FG% less than 0.400
Pascal has scored at least 20 points in (46+34) games. Only (3+4) games with a FG% less than 0.400
So Fred has 43 games over those seasons with 20+ points and FG% >0.400, and Pascal has 73 games with 20+ points and FG% >0.400.
The fact that the tweet claims that they only align 17 times over the two seasons implies that opposing defenses usually only face a Raptors offense where only one of the two primary scorers are an efficient threat on offense - the other is injured, not scoring, or scoring only with a poor shooting percentage.
NBA defenses can figure this out rather quickly, especially this year when Pascal and Fred seem to go long stretches of games dominating the ball
