Merry Christmas to all the Republic. My Raptor related wish from a long-time fan is this: Masai to create a player development system that rivals the Spurs program.
For so long the previous Raps GMs and old scout teams mess up everything when it came to making the fringe picks and taking responsibility for any players being developed. Colangelo did okay, but he on a dime dumps the system away for a short term bust. When you make a 2nd round pick, you challenge management and coaching to make the player believe in himself and be part of the system like a family and become a stay in the NBA or even an All Star. This is how you breed champions or long-time playoff contenders.Comment
