Other than not being 6'9", he seems like a very Raptors kind of guy. Sort of a bigger, more athletic version of Fred.
Isn't that pretty much what we're after?

    • I think Cason Wallace would be a reach if we stay where we are

      • Another guy who seems a lot like a Raptors sort of pick and expected to go in the 10-15 range of the draft. Jarace Walker, a forward with good size and good on defense. Not much of a scoring option though.

If we're losing Gary and/or Fred, we need a PG 6'4 or better who can distribute AND break down the D and score when needed

I'll take one who can defend and distribute. Everything else would look so much better with a pass first PG who defends well.

The scorer you want could be a reserve off the bench.

Score when needed is for the off nights for Pascal/Barnes or to torch FVV wherever he lands

                You’re describing Delon Wright. Lol.

I'd like a Delon Wright esque player.

Bothers me he's never been able to stick as a starter anywhere in his career. Think he's more suited to coming off the bench.

A starting quality Delon Wright would be great.

Maybe he'd excel with this current scheme and roster though. Would not hate it if we got him somehow

Delon is too passive at times. He plays a more of a probing east-west game that’s the complete opposite of the attacking drive & kick game that the Raptors want to play. He’s the polar opposite of what Nurse wants from his PGs. Also having a down year from 3, but he improved a lot after the Dallas stint.

But yeah, the archetype for best fit here is correct. Andrew Nembhard would’ve been perfect.

                    • I think I'm starting to like Brandon Miller more than either of the twins. He's my 3rd pick in the draft right now.

Perfect shooter for the vision 6'9"

                        • I haven't done mic research yet on the draft. Just logged into my ESPN account to see Givonys ratings

Why is everyone saying there aren't PGs in the draft other than Scoot?

He lists all these guys in the top 4 as PG

                          Scoot
                          Amem Thompson
                          Nick Smith

There isn't another PG until Cason Wallace at 13th pick so I guess a drop after top 4.

I'd go BPA anyways. Always dumb to draft for need in the lottery.

Smith and Amen are 2 guards. The best PG after Scoot is Black.

                            • I have no great desire for a traditional point. Haven’t we looked ok with Gary as the shortest guy on the court at times?

Give me one of these Thompson twins. Positionless basketball is not dead.
