  • As long as there is a shot at Wemby or Scoot, Raps gotta hold onto their FRP. If it's out of the top 2 I wonder if they consider packaging it in a trade.

    • I’d be very annoyed to see the pick traded. Name of the game is asset accumulation right now and we’re not a deep team. There are some seemingly great players in this draft outside of the top two

Yeah the only reason i bring it up is Masai seems committed to winning now and our FRP if it remains this high could be sought after.

Keyonte George is another guy that looks really interesting. Not a Raptors type of player in the sense he doesn't look like he has the tools to be a great defender, but the type of scoring guard we need to take over games.
KG is starting to slide on draft boards after some inefficient games. Shooting below 40% from the field now. Maybe more of a 6th man type of player.

            • I don’t understand how Jett Howard can be this bad of a rebounder effort wise. Back to back games with literally 0 rebounds.

In a game like the second where he goes 5/7 from 3 and scores 21 you live with it but in a game like the first where he goes 0/5 from the field with 0 points you have to find other ways to contribute. 0 points, 0 rebounds, 2 assists with a turnover is not a statline you want to see from someone looking to go in the lottery.

Wonder if he’s coasting because his dad is the coach.

The drop off in talent is big after the top two guys and just as big after maybe the top 5. Not sure why I was hearing this is the deepest draft since LeBron's. I'd say Scottie's draft year was much deeper. Maybe I need to do more research on these guys.

Brandon Miller is legit imo. Seems like he’s not the consensus 3 (looks like thats still Amen) but to me hes clearly the 3rd guy. I’m praying we get him.

Amen and Ausar are just so hard to gauge. But I think it’s deep as in there’s a lot of lottery level guys that look good. Guys like Gradey Dick, Kris Murray, even Chet I would’ve been more than happy with if our pick was more mid to late teens. I think there’s gems to be had

                  • We're on the same page when it comes to Miller at 3. Amen has a higher ceiling, but he may never develop a consistent shot and that will hold him back in the NBA. If he does though the is the higher ceiling guy. Heck he might be better than Scoot if he becomes a good shooter.

There will always be a few gems, you're right.

Not saying he doesn’t need to rebound more but he rolled his ankle and left that game after 15 minutes.

Are we sure Scoot is guaranteed at #2? For example if the Piston's pick second, do they take another guard? They just spent picks on three of them in back to back to back years in Hayes, Cade and then Ivey.

Scott is looking good... but I think Miller or Amen goes #2 if Pistons are on the clock there.

Not sure what the odds are Pistons pick second but even if they do they could always trade down. Scoot is the consensus #2.

                            • Scoot will play in the rising stars challenge

Will be nice to see him against legit NBA competition

Feel bad for him where he’s in a spot though where there’s really nowhere to go but down as the consensus 2

I don't understand "feel bad for him"
Yah he might drop a spot or two, players have gone later than thought and out of the top spots forever....they're still instant millionnaires playing game where you try to put a round thing in a round hole
